This is the standard way to do ribs, nothing fancy. You can add or subtract to suit your tastes. |
Baby
Back Ribs on the BGE |
|
|
Here is one rack of baby back ribs on the BGE direct over the coals - no drip pan. 225-240 deg dome temp for 3-3.5 hrs. Be sure to remove the membrane before starting. These are covered in a light coating of JJ's rub. No mustard coat this time. This is as basic as I can get.
Flip and rotate every 45 min to avoid burning. |

I am adding a wrapped potato and two ears of corn that has been soaking in salt water. Min 3 hrs on potatoes. I will add a little sauce to the ribs the next time I flip them. This is a personal option. |

Ribs - Corn - Potato -- What more can I ask for. I have not perfected the corn yet.
The ribs were great. You can see the chared bbq sauce - wonderful! |
